Members of management at all levels are responsible for Occupation Health and Safety.
Action Industrial Catering has a vital interest in the health, safety and well-being of all employees and believes that every person who supervises, directs or controls the works of others has a responsibility for the health and safety of those employees.
Our goal is to prevent all accidents and injuries. We believe that training all employees to work safely is essential and that a health and Safe working environment is conducive to job satisfaction and productivity.
All members of the company’s management and supervisory staff have a responsibility to ensure the safe operation and adequate care of equipment and property within their area of responsibility. They must also ensure that safe work practices are adhered to and that all employed and are fully conversant with accident control procedures.
Employee participation is encouraged and meaningful suggestions by employees to improve workplace safety and hygiene must be transmitted to management for proper evaluation.
Each employee must accept responsibility to ensure his or her own Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of their fellow employees.
As an integral part of our philosophy, Action Industrial Catering is committed to the health development of a co-ordinated and effective Occupational Health and Safety program for all its employees.
It is company policy that no employee is required to perform a task, which they believe to be unsafe.
