Mobilization and Operations
The Mobilization Plan forms the key part of the operational process and incorporates all areas and personnel as detailed within our Employee Relations Plan. The plan is a comprehensive support tool which can be used in conjunction with the Safety Management and Quality Assurance Plans. Together, these form the basis of the details and information required to mobilize any contract to the standards and specifications as detailed within the tender documents.
Mobilization covers all aspects of initiating the contract from the recruiting and selection of trained personnel, the logistical requirements through to the commencement of the additional services and the serving of the first meal.
All stages are discussed, planned and strategically laid out in accordance with the Mobilization Plan. This plan is controlled by our Business Development Team incorporating input from all key departments such as Operations, Human Resources, Quality and Purchasing. This plan becomes a ‘working document’ which is regularly reviewed, updated and communicated with the relevant people on-site.
A sample copy of the plan is attached; however, this will be tailored in accordance to the specific site-mobilization requirements as detailed within the tender document and through continual communication with the relevant parties.
Examples of areas included in the plan would be:
- Recruitment of Key Personnel and Existing Personnel (if applicable)
- Site Clearance Process for Company Personnel
- Purchasing and Logistics
- Liquor Licensing and Wet Canteen Operations (if applicable)
- Approved Suppliers, Menus and Associated
- Order Process
- Administration and Required Approvals
- Approval of Safety and Emergency Procedures for Site.
