Company Director (Financial)

As Financial Director and a founding member of the business, I have maintained firm control of all commercial aspects of AIC. The rapid growth that AIC experienced in the past few years prompted the expansion of the financial support team to meet the rising demands of annual turnover and market growth. Throughout this period, I have continued to actively manage all financial aspects of the business and accounting systems. My personal experience has enabled me to develop the company's finance and administration systems whilst overseeing such tasks as client billing, payroll, capital expenditure, asset management, financial reporting and the quality assurance system, all of which are fundamental to the methodical running of the business. I also focus on the demanding areas of corporate governance, taxation, superannuation and the company insurance requirements. In addition, I continue to relish the challenge of supplier contract negotiations and take an active interest in the business development aspects of the company.

My firm belief in the importance of building solid business relationships has led me to my active role in client liaison both as company director and co-owner, as well as from the financial aspect within which we operate. This allows me to retain a clear insight into all aspects of the business and the influencing market forces surrounding the industry. Given the financial success that AIC has experienced, even throughout the current period of global economic uncertainty and ever-changing market trends, I am certain that the strong team at AIC will be able to adapt to the shifting trends of the Western Australian market in order to continue providing the quality service for which it is fast becoming an industry hallmark.

Company Director (Operations)

My primary focus has remained on Business Development aspect of the company and is reflected in AIC's rapid growth and expansion over the past decade. The combination of my skill in operations control and Owen's financial expertise has seen the flourishing of a complementary relationship, which builds on the existing strengths and attributes of the business in order to support its prime operational functions. In collaboration with a proficient marketing department, I have been instrumental in creating strategic new processes for the support and development of tender procedures. This has been beneficial in distinguishing AIC from fellow competitors as a professional new force in catering, as well as improving existing operational practices and creating a fresh, new feel to all aspects of AIC's on-site performance.

My professional experience and profound knowledge of the industry has enabled me to develop a strong operations team within AIC. Under my guidance and assistance, the department has focused on key areas of operations growth, such as process planning and improved site mobilization systems. The success of my team is reflected in the efficient management of key company initiatives within all sectors of the operational, human resource and safety divisions. The benefits of fostering amicable relationships with both staff and clients has strengthened many existing professional liaisons over the years and developed a motivated, successful and happy workforce. The integrity behind this philosophy and my continued personal involvement in all aspects of business development and operations policy sets AIC apart as an industry standard in competitive, quality service.
